Sydney Times

We are wrapping up a great jam packed week here in Sydney. The public transit around Sydney is super convenient so we decided to pick up a pass that allowed us unlimited bus, train and ferry trips for a week. For $57 AUD each we were able to get all over Sydney and the surrounding areas with no car, no problem. With that we took the train up to Newcastle, the city where I spent a semester abroad, and got to walk around in the sunshine seeing my old pad and sampling Ginger Beer from the Newcastle Brewery, just as good as I remember it!

We ended our time here this morning on a high note taking part in the Sydney Running Festival, we ran the 9k Bridge Run and started our day with 33,000 others running across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Sydney has so much to offer from amazing views and beaches to the bustling cafes, lively nightlife and the friendly Aussies that abound; it was definitely worth the long flight to get here!
