  • Q: how long are you going to be gone?
    • A: somewhere around 7 months, we'll see how it goes
  • Q: where are you going?
  • Q: is everything all planned out?
    • A: nope, we're planning as we go, we have the first part of the trip mapped out, but we're keeping it open
  • Q: what are you bringing?
  • Q: how long have you been planning this?
    • A: we got the urge from several non-US travelers while hiking the Inca Trail in Peru in the fall of '09, but serious planning has been the last 6 months
  • Q: of the two of you, who had to convince the other to take the trip?
    • A: Luckily the decision was very mutual, we both seemed to get the desire at the same time. We both went through different concerns while we were planning, but overall were both very excited.
  • Q: what's your budget?
    • A: we're budgeting an average $150/day for expenses
  • Q: what's the crazies/wierdest thing you've seen
    • A: well luckily (or maybe unluckily depending on how you look at it) our trip has been pretty tame, but one morning in Jomsom, Nepal we had to run out of the street and take cover in a hotel because there was huge black bull charging down the middle of the cobblestone road.
